Bilingualism

We place great emphasis on English as the primary platform for international communication, science and business.

We educate bilingual children, giving them a remarkable advantage in today’s global world. From the very first days of school, students are immersed in English, allowing them to achieve fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding.

LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGES AT OUR SCHOOL

Why is it important to teach foreign languages from an early age? This initiative stems from the needs of our times, not just from a desire to expand our educational offerings.

Knowing a foreign language is no longer a privilege, but a necessity. The main goal of teaching a foreign language at this stage of education is to support children’s comprehensive development, prepare them for encounters with other cultures and languages, and develop an inquisitive attitude and stimulate curiosity.

      At our school:

      • in grades 1-6 – 4 hours of English and 1 hour of conversation with a native speaker,
      • in grades 7-8 – 5 hours of English and 1 hour of conversation with a native speaker,
      • learning a second foreign language from the second grade – 2 hours per week – German or Spanish to choose from.

All classes have a lesson with a native speaker – conversational English classes, emphasizing the development of communication skills.

      Exam preparation classes:

      • General English exam in the Cambridge English Qualifications range at levels: A1, A2/Key for Schools, B1/Preeliminary for Schools, B2/First for Schools,
      • exam by the Provincial Board.

      Remedial and support classes

Classes developing language skills as part of Content and Language Integrated Learning:

      • Culture of English-Speaking Countries in grades 4-6.
